We set up the group, inspired by the Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature, in Jan 2007. We now meet in Oran Mor, Byres Road, Glasgow, on the middle Wednesday of each month at 7.30pm. We rely on word of mouth to get folk along, and we are very friendly.
next meeting is 7.30pm on Weds 20th August, and thereafter at 7.30pm on:
Weds 17th Sept
Weds 15th Oct
weds 19th Nov
Weds 17th Dec
Go into the main pub, turn right, and we will meet in the top right corner,Byres Road end of Oran Mor.
WW is a great way to meet people.
It was started by Laura Marney, writer, Eleanor Logan, Waterstone's, and Liz Small, formerly of Publishing Scotland, and now working for Waverley Books.
